Utah Trip (Boman Side)

In September, we headed to Utah so Dax could meet all of his aunts, uncles, cousins, and great grandmas there.  We were a little worried about the plane ride but he did great. . . most of the way!  There was about a 10-15 minute meltdown in the middle of the first, long flight and a blowout on the second one, but other than that, great!

One of the first things we did in Utah was meet great-grandmas.

We ended up doing vacations within our vacation while in Utah.  The first week there we went to Bear Lake with my family and Miller's.  Brian's brother-in-law's grandparent's have a sweet cabin in Bear Lake that is big enough for my whole family and we had so much fun!  The first night there we went to Bandito - well most of us.  Dads stayed home with babies - Dax gave Dad a run for his money and cried the whole time.

The next day we went to the beach!  It was pretty cold though so we didn't end up staying too long.

Brian and Kyle spent a long time making these little sand castles with the kids.

Our awesome view from our cabin and the awesome cabin itself. This place is seriously so fun.  It has an fun game room with ping pong, air hockey, double shots and all kinds of toys and games.  There are like 15 bedrooms so there is plenty of space for everyone. We had plans for an outdoor movie night on the huge deck but it was a little too cold and we ended up having to move it inside.  Outside there is a swing, fireplace, trampoline, volleyball net, and some little playgrounds.  So there is definitely enough to keep you busy for the weekend.

We told our families we had to split our time in Utah with the Miller's too so they came with us to Bear Lake.  It was so fun to play with them, too!  We miss them everyday and can't wait until they move back to Ohio!

Dax loved getting to spend so much time with his cousins! He got a lot of love and attention!

I love that they are holding hands!

Another fun thing we did one night at the cabin was glow stick dancing. The kids thought it was so cool and it was super fun to watch them run around looking like littler stick figures.

Dax had a rough time with time change so there were lots of morning snuggles with Mom and Dad while trying to adjust.
Another fun thing we got to do with my family was celebrate Kyle's sweet sixteen!  So weird to think this kid is driving now. We finally got a pic with everyone in it too.  Well, except Brad.  We missed him this trip but it won't be much longer until we get to see him too!
