Pregnancy Announcement (Trip to Utah Part II)

Another fun thing we did while we were in Utah was tell our families about the baby!  It was a little earlier than we wanted to tell everyone (I was only 8 weeks) but we decided we really wanted to do it in person and we knew I wouldn't keep it a secret until we flew out at Christmas.

We told my family at a big family breakfast the day after the wedding.  We decided we were going to tell everyone during Brian blessing the food.  We were a little worried about  Brian being asked to pray, but what we should have been worried about was everyone in my family being on time.  When my mom asked Brian to say the prayer, my dad was helping someone with their Eagle project and not home yet and Heather and Dean were across the street at a yard sale.  We said the prayer a second time when they all got there so that it was still a surprise.

We told Brian's family at a big picnic we had the next day at Utah State. We got lucky again with Brian being chosen to say the prayer and we only had to do it once this time.
