January -
For our 2nd anniversary, we took a trip to St. George. We had tons of fun, well mostly. On the drive down, Brian got food poisoning and so he spent the first few days really sick. After he was feeling better though, we went to the movies, to the temple, out to eat, bowling, and to play games and Nate and Darcy and her family (they spend New Year's in St. George at Darcy's grandma's house every year).
Of course, no anniversary would be complete without a cake from Brian's aunt! There was a little bit of a mix up so we didn't get it until after we came back from St. George but then we got to share with Heather and her family!
We took a family trip with Brian's family to Grand Targhee. We stayed in a condo that was a little cramped but it was super fun. We got to ski, swim, hot tub, watch movies, play games, and just hang out. I even got everyone to try a little yoga!
We were in town during an ice sculpture contest. These sculptures were amazing!!!
February -
Not much happened in February. For Valentine's Day we went out to dinner at Sizzler. We were probably the youngest people there, but it was tasty!
Brian got a promotion in February. We went out for sushi to celebrate. Well, Brian got sushi. I got good food!
March -
We had a lot of birthdays in March. My Grandma Mary turned 75 and we had a big family party at Maddox for her. She loved every second of it!
For Marie's birthday, we went to the Air Force Airplane Museum at Hill Air Force Base. Elizabeth had a great time being the leader and showing everyone around the museum.

We had an Easter party at Carrie and Daniel's house. The girls had a great time looking for eggs in the yard and filling up their baskets.
We got the chance to go to the opera with our friends, Wendy and Justin. Neither of us had ever been to an opera before. We went to The Magic Flute. It was a little too long, but other than that, we actually enjoyed it a lot more than we thought we would.
April -
Lance and Jan were able to get some tickets for conference so they took us to a session. The boys had tickets for the priesthood session that night too but we ending up giving them to a youth group that had driven from another state to go and we went to dinner and did some shopping instead.
For my birthday, Brian surprised me with homemade manicotti, one of my favorites! It was delicious!
Brian and I found an awesome deal on a stay at Bryce Canyon so we convinced Lance and Jan and Carrie and Daniel to come with us as well.
While we were out at a restaurant, Sarah learned how to wink at an old man at the table next to us. This picture doesn't quite capture it, but it was so funny! On our way home, we stopped at Tucanos since Daniel and I both had free birthday meals. It was probably the highlight of the trip for me!
This is probably going to be one of the things we are going to miss most about living in Ogden. These little girls lived less than 10 minutes away so we went on lots of walks and had lots of picnics and went to lots of parks and swing sets with them. We are really going to miss playing with ALL of our nieces and nephews!
******We miss all of our babies equally!********
May -
Brad turned 18 this year and we went out to dinner for his birthday. Kyle got dropped off at the wrong restaurant but he did get there eventually.
We went on hike with Brian's family up a canyon in Mendon.
Over Memorial Day weekend, Kyle stayed at Brian's parent's house with us overnight. Him and Brian stayed up late playing games and watching movies. In the morning, we hiked to the top of this mountain!
We went to an RSL game with Kyle and Heather and her kids with our Pass of All Passes.
It was really fun until it started raining really bad. We tried to sit it out with ponchos but it got to be a little too much. Heather and I left with the kids and Brian and Kyle stayed for the rest of the game which ended up going into overtime.
The cute sign that Grace and Elizabeth colored for Brian's birthday and to tell him good luck oh his job interview in Ohio.
June -
This guy graduated from high school! I'm without my better half in this pic because he was in Ohio for his job interview with Scott's.

I won tickets on the radio for an RSL game. We were on the front row right behind the goal, it was awesome!!! I won the best wife award that night!
Robin had to stay for a little bit at the hospital for a growth she had on her jaw. I went to visit her and she was such a good little patient!
For Grandma Pauline's birthday we went to Tepanyaki. The kids were loving watching the chef cook right in front of them.
I had a day off of work so I went to a splash pad with Heather and her kids. We really miss having family close by to do last minute, fun things like this with!
We went to the Drive In with my family to see Monsters University. Almost everyone went home after the first movie, but we stayed with the high school kids! I was asleep in the first movie, but Brian stayed awake.
