2012 Highlights!

So I haven't done this is ages, but now that we are living a little further from home I decided it was time to start again.  I couldn't get myself to start with the present though, I just have to start where I left off.  So I know this is so old, and I won't post everything from 2012, just some highlights.

   2012 was a year of babies!  Robin came first in Janurary.

In February, we went to a gala fundraiser with my mom and dad for one of his clients.  It was really fun to get all dressed up for the fancy dinner and bid on a bunch of stuff that we didn't win.

 
In March, we went indoor surfing with Dean and Laura.  It was awesome and we had a LOT of fun!

We had a big, combined birthday party in March. We gave Marie this headband and Brian made a bunch of jokes about it being bigger than her head. Carrie made an awesome pinata for the party, too!

   Bronson was the next baby born in April.

For Easter, we dyed eggs at my mom's house and slept over for the Easter bunny the next morning. The Easter bunny brought us some new clothes in our baskets!

In May, we went to Florida with Brian's family! We had so much fun! We spent a few days in Disneyworld, a day at Universal Studios, and then a few days in Miami at the beach.

For Brian's birthday, we went to lunch and a movie and then indoor sky diving!

Brian loved it so much, we ended up going back while Kyle was staying with us and we talked my dad into going as well.

     Our last 2012 baby was Sarah in July.

This probably isn't a highlight - Brian won a gift card at work and we went out to dinner, but I just really love this pic of us!

In July, we spent a weekend in downtown Salt Lake.  We stayed at the Radisson right between City Creek and the Gateway so we did a lot of shopping and eating.  We also made a trip to the zoo!

In July, we stayed at a cabin in Bear Lake with my family.  It was the most awesome cabin with plenty of room for all of us!

We spent our time at the beach, going to see El Bandito (a family favorite), playing volleyball, watching movies outside on the deck, and playing games!

 
 In September, we went to a fundraiser for Marie and Brian ran in the 5k and came in 3rd place!

Over Labor Day, we went to a family reunion with my family and stayed at a cabin by Pine View.

 In October, we went to Park City for a few weekend getaways.  Once by ourselves and once with some of my family.

 

Halloween! We never get big into Halloween so these were really last minute costumes.

Just us!  Dean smoked a turkey and a ham for Thanksgiving and it was delicious!

Always a highlight - the annual ugly sweater party at the Carter's!  We love raiding my parent's closet for this party every year, they don't so much.

Nate and Darcy won tickets to the Potato Bowl last minute so we had 15 minutes to get in our car and meet them to drive up to Idaho for the game!  It was super fun, we had a blast!

 
Christmas!  We got a chocolate fondue fountain and games from Brad.  This was the best shot I could get of all the babies.  Poor Ethan and Robin were sick and just wanted Mommy and Daddy to hold them.
