Visit from the Grandparents

In May, we had both sets of Grandparents come to visit for Dax's blessing.  We got to do some other fun things during their weekend visit, too

 Getting ready to pick up Grandma and Grandpa Boman at the airport.  After Lance and Jan got stuck in traffic for 3 hours the day before, I decided to leave Dax at home with Nana and Pops while I picked up Grandma and Grandpa just in case of another crazy delay.  Luckily, I was only gone about an hour and a half, but Dax did awesome for this first babysitters.

On Friday, we made the drive up to Kirtland to see the church history sites. We got stuck in some traffic and barely made it up in time for the last tour of the temple.  Poor Dax spent pretty much all day in his chair but he was a champ and did great with it! 

Brian got some tickets for a Red's game in Cincinnati on Saturday (his birthday).  I almost stayed home with Dax because the day before in the car was a little rough on his eating schedule and we had a lot to do to get ready for his blessing, but last minute decided we wanted to spend Daddy's birthday with him.  Plus Grandma and Nana were rock stars and got everything done for us for the blessing!

The Red's stadium was right on the river and super cool.  We were in a suite with all-you-can-eat food and lots of people watching so even though not all of us were into baseball, I think we all had fun!
