Brad's Wedding

In July, we went to Utah for  a quick weekend for Brad and Sarah's wedding.

Dax did great on the plane and watched Monsters Inc. twice!

The temple was great.  Dax hung out with Nana and Pops while we went to the wedding and then met us there.  Pictures after the temple were a little rough because it was super hot!  Rylee even passed out - twice!  Dax just got SUPER sweaty!

Dax got a short nap on the way to the reception but was kind of a mess there because he was super tired.  After several falls (notice the big bump on his forehead) he went home with Nana for the night.

We also made it to Sarah's birthday party at the Logan pool.  Dax loved the slide and wanted to go over and over.

Dad and his future little aggie on the A on campus.

Getting avacado egg rolls with the Webbers.

Dax got to take his seat on the first flight and slept the whole way.  The second flight, he was on Dad's lap again and was loving watching out the window.

Boston

We decided to go to Boston for the long weekend we had before the 4th of July.  Dax is getting to be a bit of an airplane pro - it helped that we had a tablet for him with a couple of his favorite movies.  He did really great on the plane though.

When we got to Boston, we checked into our hotel and then set off to start exploring!   One of our first stops was the Cheers bar and a big park downtown.

Dax was super happy to be able to just run around after so much time in the car and plane.

Downtown at the site of the Boston Massacre

Day 2 started with a harbor cruise and then some time at the aquarium.

After the aquarium, we did most of the freedom walk, then toured the USS Constitution which Dax thought was pretty awesome.

At Paul Revere's house.

On our 3rd day we did a trolley tour.  We didn't get to the whole tour because Dax was a bit restless on the trolley.  We got off at the park to do a swan boat ride.

After the park, we walked to the Prudential tower to check out the observation deck and see all of Boston from above.

After the Prudential tower, we went to Legoland.  I think the slide there was the highlight of the trip for Dax.  He went over and over until he got all sweaty!  He loved it at Legoland and didn't want to leave.

Our last day, we had a little bit of time to kill before having to be at the airport.  We took Dax on the carousel at the harbor and then got some lunch.  Brian made me try oysters - they aren't that good.  He did get me a Boston creme pie though which was really good!  After lunch, we headed to the airport but still had some time to kill before our flight.  Luckily, there was a great kid play area by our gate and Dax had a blast!

We came home on the 4 of the July so we missed all of the fireworks and such.  We came home so Brian could go to work the next day but came home to find out he had it off.  So we had a day to recover at home before going back to real life.
