In June, Brian had to go to a conference in Denver one week and then High Adventure with his priests the next week, so instead of stay home alone for 2 weeks, Dax and I made our way out to Utah for a visit. I was a little nervous about flying alone with Dax, but he did ok. The tablet still only keeps him interested for about 5 minutes so it was a challenge to keep him busy but we made it. Unfortunately, Dax made it with ear infections in both ears and was pretty sick the whole time we were in Utah. But we still managed to fit in some fun with cousins!
At the Phoenix airport for our layover trying to run off some energy before another flight.
Boman cousins
Dean and Laura brought over a pool and slide to Grandma's one day and Dax loved it. I think it was the only day he wasn't sick the whole time we were there and he had a blast. He went down the slide over and over again.
The zoo with some of our Boman cousins. We also met up with Hardman cousins for a little bit. Dax wasn't feeling good and we forgot our stroller so it was a bit of a rough day.
We had a girl's night at Top Golf which was a ton of fun!
Dax eating a cupcake at Sarah's shower.
Dax watching a show with Jack and playing with the leftover balloons from the shower with Rylee
This is how Dax spent most of the trip sadly. It was heartbreaking to have him not feel good but I got more snuggle time with him in that two weeks than I have had with him in his whole little life since he is NOT a snuggler. Gotta say, snuggle time is almost not worth it when it's at 3 in the morning though.
Hardman cousins! We didn't get a lot of pics while we stayed at Carrie's. Mostly because this is when Dax was probably feeling the worst and he did a lot of sleeping. While he slept though, we built a playground in the backyard every night which was a lot of fun. We also went to Summerfest, Indian Oven, and had lots of family time.
We also spent some time with our Miller cousins. We went to the pool, In and Out, jumped on the tramp, and played Skylanders. Mom also got to go a HIGH class and the movies with Aunt Maddie.
