Peek-A-Boo

Dax's favorite game lately is peek-a-boo with a door.  It's about the only time I can get him to stay in one place for more than 5 minutes.

Feb Highlights

Here are some of our favorite moments from February.

 We had some warm weather day in February so we went out for walks every chance we got.  The right is Dax all ready for church.

Not sure if Dax was getting some teeth, going through a growth spurt, or got a little cold, but there were a few days that he either didn't sleep at all and some when it seemed like he slept all day!

 Just to prove that Dax actually has some hair.  His hairline may start very far back, but after that, there is hair.

 Story time with Daddy!  This kid LOVES spending time with his daddy!

 Shopping trip to Lowe's to find some carpet for the basement.  You can't really tell from these pics but Dax was really loving this car cart.

We needed to get out of the house one Sunday so we went on a drive to a covered bridge.

11 Months

Dax is 11 months old and he is getting so big!  He likes to eat by himself and has stopped throwing his food and sippy.  He signs "more," "all done," and "music." He babbles all day long but hasn't started saying real words yet.  We sometimes think he is saying "dada" but I refuse to believe it and am holding out for "mama" to be his first real word.  He still sleeps like a champ and takes two naps a day. He loves splashing in the tub and being outside - I'm really excited to take him to the pool this summer! He gives kisses, snuggles, and noggins.  And he started taking some steps!  He isn't walking yet, but takes 4 or 5 steps at a time.

First Steps

Park Day

We finally had some warm weather in February so we took Dax to the park for the first time.  He loved the slides and swings!
