Can't believe this kid is 10 months old already! He is getting so big. He loves bath time, playing, reading books, and eating. This kid is going to eat us out of house and home. He has eaten an entire grilled cheese sandwich or chicken breast for dinner - along with about 10 ounces of milk. He has 8 teeth now - 4 on top and 4 on bottom. He stands all of the time, but is not interested in trying to walk anywhere. Not even if we are trying to help him. Crawling is faster and he is happy with that. He is learning to do things like sign more, give noggins, fold his hands for prayer, play peek a boo and chase, and do "so big." My favorite new "trick" is that he will snuggle before bedtime now. He has NEVER been a snuggler, so I will take my 30 seconds every night and be happy! I hope he never outgrows that one.

January Highlights
Here are some of our highlights from January.
Dax got a new tooth which made him really fussy, but made for lots of snuggle time with Mom so I wasn't complaining too much. He even took a nap with me which hasn't happened since he was like a month old.
The hardest thing I do all day is try to get this kid dressed after bath time. It's like he thinks naked is an option after a bath. So we usually compromise with some diaper time.
In January, we decided to let Dax try milk and just see how it went. He LOVED it. So much, in fact, we ended up not nursing anymore. Mom and Dax are both very happy! Another happy moment was when we decided to quit fighting nap time at church and just take our pack and play and put this kid down for his nap in an empty classroom while we go to sacrament meeting. Sundays have been much happier for all of us now!
We had a random warm day in January where we went for a LONG walk. It was super nice and now we are itching for spring! Dax LOVES to skype and will just sit and talk to the screen forever!
9 Months
9 Months old! This kid is getting so big. He is into EVERYTHING. His new favorite activity is emptying the drawer under the oven. He is standing up to everything and is even walking along it from time to time and loves to clap and give high fives. He also won't eat baby food anymore and wants the real food Mom and Dad are eating. Here are his stats from his 9 month appointment (which went great - he didn't even cry for his shot).
Height - 30.5 inches (98%ile)
Weight - 22 pounds 15 inches (90%ile)
Head Circumference - 19 inches (99%ile)

Utah Christmas
We had a great Christmas trip to Utah. Our first stop was the Miller's
After Miller's, we went to Boman's. With Boman's we did a gift exchange brunch, the Polar Express, Christmas Eve, and Christmas morning.
Cheering Max on at his Jr. Jazz game.
Dax loved that he could play peek a boo while taking a shower.
"Tree of Life" in Sandy
After Miller's, we went to Boman's. With Boman's we did a gift exchange brunch, the Polar Express, Christmas Eve, and Christmas morning.
Meeting Santa on the train.
Christmas Eve
Opening presents on Christmas morning
Stockings at Great-Grandma Mary's.
With Hardman's, we did some snow activities, Christmas day, movie night at Sharp's, and Dax stayed overnight with Nana while Mom and Dad went to the Anniversay Inn for their 5 year anniversary. Dax did great with his first overnight sitter except he wouldn't take a bottle.
Dad really wants Dax to be a snow baby but he hates like the cold like Mommy.
Opening presents on Christmas day
We gave this game to the nieces and William but we couldn't get any of them to play it.
