Visit from Nana and Pops

Since we weren't going to see them over Thanksgiving, Nana and Pops decided to come to Ohio and have an early Thanksgiving with us.  We did lots of other fun things too, like Dax's first trip to the zoo!

The zoo was really fun and we got to see the lion cubs!  Somehow, in November, we were hot walking around and didn't stay for too long.

We also made a trip down to Hocking Hills to do some hiking. Dax loved being outside, seeing all the people, and riding on Daddy's back in his backpack.

Nana and Pops also brought a few Christmas presents out with them so we will have to less take back with us next month when we go for Christmas.  Dax was loving the wrapping paper!

October Highlights

Here are some of our highlights from October.

This kid LOVES TV so he was pretty enthralled with conference.

This kid LOVES his daddy!

First time in the bouncer.  He wouldn't get out for like an hour and then by then he was so wound up that he wouldn't go to sleep.  We made a 20 minute rule after that.

My cute, happy, silly little boy!

Dax started getting pretty mobile.  Not yet crawling really but he could roll and scoot to pretty much wherever he wanted to go. It also meant he was getting stuck under things like his crib though.

We also spent a lot of time in October in the high chair and trying lots of new foods.  Solids were pretty slow going with this kid - he wasn't loving them at first.  He is doing much better now though and will eat until you take the food away from him.

Halloween

This guy was a little too small to really enjoy Halloween but we still had fun dressing him for the the ward Trunk or Treat.

 Baby zoo!!!
Handing out candy at the trunk or treat

Dax can't eat candy yet but we still wanted to take him trick or treating just for fun so we dressed him up and just took him to the older couple next door.  He had a lot fun just handing out candy to the trick or treaters that came to our house too because he loves kids.
