Christmas FHE

Our friends, the Heap's, invited us over for a Christmas FHE.  We love hanging out with them and their fun kids because they are a lot like our nieces and nephews.

Our awesome gingerbread house! It took 2 tries before the icing actually held together, but the finished product looked pretty good!

After we finished the gingerbread house, we made reindeer antlers with panty house and balloons.  They took a lot longer to make than we thought they would, but the kids loved them and they looked pretty funny!

Thanksgiving

Brian and I were very tempted to fly to Utah for Thanksgiving, but we waited too long and flights got a little (and by a little, I mean extremely) out of our price range.  So instead we got together we some of our friends, the Rutters, and had Thanksgiving with them.

 This is Brian and I getting our Thanksginving dinner cooking on!  For Brian's family, Brian is trying to re-create the infamous primary mug shot that is on his Christmas ornament in this picture.  I think it's dead on!

This is everyone at dinner (minus Calli because she was taking the picture).  We had tons of fun, ate WAY too much, and then watched a movie.  Calli and I were going to hit some of the Black Friday sales but nothing was tempting enough after eating all of that food and collapsing on the couch.  

Fall Trip to Utah

In October, I got the chance to go to Utah.  Sadly, Brian couldn't come with me because he didn't have enough vacation time at work yet, but I just couldn't wait any longer to meet my two babies so I went without him.  I got there a few days before Halloween so I got to go to the annual Halloween Chili Party which was really fun and I got to see a lot of people.  I also got to go to baby Jackson's baby blessing which was awesome because I was really sad when I missed baby Emma's.

Sadly, I didn't get a lot of pictures of this trip because I was (not sadly) holding a baby most of the time.

Heather's friend's dog had puppies.  The kids had a blast holding these little baby puppies.

Ethan really wanted raisin bread because that's what they were eating on the tv show he was watching.  Heather didn't have any but she had bread and raisins, so this is what Ethan did to make raisin bread.

Girl's night out - Me, Mom, Heather, and Laura went to get pedicures.  It was a new experience to get pedicures with two babies in car seats.
