2011 Update

I don't get a lot of time to Blog, but I'm home from work sick so I thought it was about time for an update and also found some posts I never published.  So anyway, here's some stuff that happened in 2011! Hopefully I can get all the way caught up soon!

For Brian's birthday, he got a grill!  He loves this thing - cooks for us all the time!

My family did a staycation at my parent's house.  The first night we played a bunch of minute to win it games like "Face the Cookie" where you put a cookie on your forehead and try and get it into your mouth using only your face.  It was tons of fun!
In the morning, all the girls went and did a 5k. Later we did a scavenger hunt with everyone.

We decided to go up to Pine View one day and got Heather, Ethan, Kyle and my mom to go with us.
Sugarland concert!
My family went camping for Labor Day and we had lots of fun at the pool there!
Church with the family while camping!
 Homecoming weekend!

 Halloween - we were cooks.
In October, we went to Disneyland with my family!  It was tons of fun!

1 Year Anniversary

Someone told Brian and me that we should try to go away for each of our anniversaries and make them special.  We decided to try it and for our first anniversary, we went to Jackson Hole.  We had a ton of fun!  We stayed in a really fun place that was close to the Town Square and had an awesome breakfast buffet!

Our cake topper - not from our wedding!  We are very lucky and have an awesome aunt that made our cake for our wedding, so we just had her make a new cake topper so we didn't have to worry about the whole freezing thing!
 #1!

Us at Merry Piglets - a little mexican restaurant we went to that was delicious!

 Brian likes Merry Piglets!

March Birthday Party

The Hardman/Allen family had LOTS of birthdays in March, so we all got together for a joint March birthday party at Willow Park.  We had a BLAST!  We had a BBQ, played some soccer, went to the zoo, and even had a pinata!

It was very windy, which made our picture taking a little difficult.

This is what we gave Marie for her 1st Bday! Brian made jokes about it being bigger than her head, but I think you can't go too big with baby bows!

Carrie made this awesome Nemo pinata! The kids didn't really know what to do with it at first, but after they found out there was candy inside, they started hitting a little harder.

 Big kids turn!

Everyone had their own bday cake, which meant 5 different cakes!
